4. Initial start-up
! The EPS 807 / 815 is only to be assembled, connect-
ed and commissioned by specialist personnel.
4.1 Transportation, installation
Danger: Risk of injury from inexpert han-
dling of the EPS807 / 815
Bei unsachgemäßem Transport von Inexpert
handling of the EPS807 / 815 could lead to
injuries resulting from falling or tipping-up of
the unit.
¶ Wear safety shoes.
¶ Always use suitable transportation and
lifting equipment with an adequate load-
bearing capacity.
¶ Observe the center of gravity (refer to
center of gravity symbol).
¶ Always secure at the specified lashing
points when moving with a crane and lift-
ing equipment.
¶ Never stand beneath suspended loads.

B2 Place board (1000 x 700 x 25 mm) under the test bench to pro-
vide forks with a level support surface
Install the test bench on a solid and level floor using the
enclosed felt pads and align with a spirit level. The up-
per edge of the oil pan is the reference point.
4.2 Removing transportation safeguards
1. By removing the upper covers (on the left and right)
and the 4 bolts with the red spacer sleeves (1).

2. Open the switch cabinet door and remove the fastening
screw (1) with the transportation lock marked red.
