Using
the
Self-
Timer
The self-timer can be used for recording movies and still images.

When recording movies:

the
FUNC.
menu
and
select

self
timer
icon.

start/stop
button.
The camcorder starts recording after a 10-second countdown
(2
seconds when using
the START/STOP button of the wireless controller). The countdown appears
on
the
screen.
When recording still images:

autofocus

then fully.
The camcorder will record the image after a 10-second countdown

using the PHOTO button of the wireless controller). The countdown appears
on
the
screen.

cancel the self-timer. select the [SELF TIMER OFF] option (or a different

drive mode

CCAMERA·Od)
mode). Once the countdown has begun, you can
also press the start/stop button (when recording movies) or the PHOTO button
fully (when recording still images) to cancel the self-timer.
o The self-timer will
be
canceled when you turn off the camcorder or change the
position
of
the TAPE/CARD switch.
