Replacing the Color Wheel
Before replacing the unit, wait approximately 45 minutes after the projector is turned off to allow the
projector to cool thoroughly.
1. A proper power off procedure requires that you turn off
the projector and wait for the power LED to turn solid
red. At this time, it is safe to disconnect the power cord.
Allow the lamp and devices to cool down for at least 45
minutes.
2. Loosen the captive screw on the color wheel cover.
3. Slide the color wheel cover to remove.
4. Loosen the captive screws on the color wheel.
5. Remove the color wheel.
6. Install the color wheel.
7. Secure the captive screws on the color wheel.
