3. Adjusting the air
distribution
Press on buttons

to
change the air ow dis-
tribution. The symbol
(arrows) corresponding
to the chosen distribu-
tion lights up:
Windscreen and front windows.
Front air vents (central, side
and soft diffusion grille if open)
and rear air vents.
Front and rear footwells.
Note:
You cannot select distribu-
tion to the windscreen/front win-
dows and to the front/rear air vents
at the same time.

6. Front demisting - deicing
In some cases,
AUTO
mode may not be suf-
cient to demist or
defrost the windows
(e.g. humidity, several
passengers, frost).
Press button

for rapid
clear win-
dows
.
Air conditioning only works with
the engine running. The air blower
button (air ow adjustment)
must be activated to obtain air
conditioning.
Press on button

comes on.
To function effi ciently,
air
conditioning should
be used with the win-
dows closed
.
5. Adjusting the air fl ow
The air ow can only
be adjusted with the
engine running.
Turn control

:
Clockwise to increase the air
ow.
Anti-clockwise to reduce the air
ow.
The level of air fl ow is indicated on
the control panel display

by the
progressive fi lling of the bars.
By reducing the air ow to its
minimum setting, the air condi-
tioning system switches itself
off (OFF).
To prevent misting and poor air
quality in the passenger compart-
ment, take care to maintain a suf-
cient fl ow of air.
7. Rear demisting - deicing
Press button
7
, with the
engine running, to start a
rapid deicing or demist-
ing of the rear screen
and rear view mirrors.
The warning lamp comes on.
This mode automatically stops
depending on the outside tempera-
ture. It can be interrupted by a fur-
ther press on button
7
or by stop-
ping the engine.
In the latter case, demisting
will resume when the engine is
switched on again.
Note:
The heated rear screen
operates independently of the
automatic air conditioning.
The warning lamp comes on. This
system controls air conditioning,
temperature and air ow/entry. It
distributes ventilation towards the
windscreen and the front windows.
You can manually exit
Demisting
mode. This mode should be can-
celled as soon as possible to allow
the redistribution of air in the pas-
senger compartment.
A press on the
1
button returns you
to “
AUTO
” mode.
