Printer Setting Menu
The Printer Setting menu allows you to view and change printer settings.
Menu Option Description Purpose
Communication (A)
1. EthAddressMethod
2. EthDnsAddress1
3. EthDnsAddress2
4. EthDnsSearchSuffix
5. EthGatewayAddress
6. EthIpAddress
7. EthSubnetMask
Displays the default and current values
of the communication method—DHCP
(dynamic) or STATIC—and address
information. Changes the current
information or restores the default
values. Refer to “Communication” on
page 56 for more information on
setting these values.
ActivityLog (A)
1. ExternalLog
2. ExternalLogServer
3. FilterCardActions
4. FilterConfigChanges
5. FilterJobStates
6. FilterSoapMsgs
7. FilterSystem
8. InternalLog
Allows you to enable or disable the
internal and external logs and
designate the external log server IP
address. The activity log filters specify
the severity level required to write
information to the log, or turn off the
filter. The filter severity levels include:
Critical, Error, Warning, Notice,
Information, Debug, and Disabled. Use
this option to change the current
values or restore the default values.
Refer to ActivityLog Example” on
page 58 for an example of using the
activity log.
