Perform parallel adjustment for the Media Feeding
Unit and Auto Take-up Reel Unit when there are
problems with media feeding or take-up and after
moving the printer.

Is take-up occurring with the printed side
facing out?
Take up media with the printed side facing in.
o
Is narrow media being taken up?
We recommend using media with a width of 36 inches
or greater.
o
Is thick media being taken up?
When thick printed media is being taken up, we
recommend setting the print settings of the software
RIP to 3 passes or higher.

The after heater automatically turns
Off
o
The after heater will turn off if no print job is received
for some time and no error occurs. The time before the
after heater turns off automatically can be selected
using the Heat Off Timer option in the setup menu.

received, the media loading lever is used, or another
operation involving printer hardware is performed.
The control panel display keeps
turning off.

Is the printer in sleep mode?
The printer enters sleep mode when the Heat Off
Timer expires and the heaters turn off. The time
before the after heater turns off can be selected using
the Printer Setup menu.
