Your notebook is equipped with stereo loudspeakers, two microphones and, depend ing
on the equipment level, one bass loudspeaker (subwoofer).
For information on the exact position of loudspeakers and microphones, see th e
"Initial Setup" User Guide for your AMILO notebook.
If you atta ch an external microphone, the built-in microphone is disabled.
When you connect headphones or external speakers, the built-in speakers are disabled.
Subwoofer system (optional)
The bass loudspeaker and the two loudspeakers form a so-called subwoofer system for true
listening pleasure. Th e internal loudspeakers are used to generate the m id and high-frequency
sounds, while the bass loudspeaker gen erates the low-frequency sounds. As a listener is not
able to determine the exact direction from whe re the low-frequency sounds are coming, only one
subwoofer is required. It can be positioned anywhere (e.g. on the underside of the notebook).
