Connecting an external monitor
An analogue monitor is connected to the analogue VG A monitor port, a digital monitor to
the DVI-I monitor port. Monitor output is limited to a maximum of two monitors at any one
time (see "
Key combinations", Page 19, section "Toggle outp ut monitor").

► Switch off the notebook an

► Connect the data cable of the external monitor to the monitor port of the notebook.
► First switch on the externa
l monitor and then the notebook.

on, you can toggle back and forth between
the externa l monitor and
the notebook’s LCD screen.
