3. Open the bypass tray cover. Alternatively, remove the paper left in the bypass tray.
4. Hold both sides of the Bypass Tray, then pull it straight out of the main unit.
5. Pull the Tray 1 out until it stops, then remove it from the main unit while lightly lifting its front
part.
6. While rotating the paper feed rollers, wipe the surface of two sets of the paper feed rollers on the
tray 1 and behind the tray 1 gently and without pressing with a soft, moistened, and tightly-
squeezed cloth.
