Connecting external devices
Under all circumstances, please obse rve the safety notes provided in the

Import ant note s", Page 13 cha pter before connecting or disconnecting
any devices to or from your Tablet PC .
Always read the documentation supplied with the device you w ish to connect.
Never connect or disconnect cables during a thunderstorm.
Never pull at a cable when disconn ecting it. Always grasp the plug.
With some devices, such as USB devices, it is not necessary to switch off
the Tablet PC and the device befo re connecting/disconnecting. For more
information about whether or not devices need to be switched off, please refer
to the documentation supplied with your external device.
Some of the external devices re quire special d rivers (see the operating
system and external device documentation).
Connecting an external monitor

The HDMI p ort of the docking cradle can be used to connect an external ampli¿er,
LCD TV or a plasma TV with an HDMI connection.
Ź Connect the data cable to the
external device.
