LIFTING MACHINE WITH CRANE
WARNING:
• Do not lift the machine with anyone riding on
the machine.
• Use wire ropes and shackles strong enough to
support the weight of the machine.
• Be sure to set the blade position with the
engine running. Failure to do so may cause the
blade to be moved from the set-position when
lifted with a crane.
1. Swing the upperstructure so the blade is positioned at
the rear of the counterweight.
2. Fully retract the blade cylinder.
3. Fully extend the boom, arm and bucket cylinders, as
illustrated to the right. Pull the pilot control shut-off
lever to LOCK position.
4. Position the boom straight ahead of the
upperstructure. Apply the boom swing pedal lock.
5. Attach shackles to the boom and blade hooks.
Securely thread wire ropes through the shackles.
6. Slowly lift the machine so that shock loads will not be
applied to the machine. Take sufficient care not to
loose the balance of the machine.
