Remote Control Installation
(equipped type or optional
equipment)
Improperly installed steering
system, remote control box, and
remote control cable, or installing
those of the different types could
cause unpredictable accident.
Consult your outboard motor
dealer for proper installation.
The control box is available in three
types.
Select the most suitable control box
for your outboard motor considering
the installation position,
operationability, etc. of the control
box.
See your outboard motor dealer for
further information.
<Remote Control Box Location>
Install the remote control box in the
position where is easy to operate the
remote control lever and switches.
Be sure that there are no obstacles on
the route of the control cable.
The control box position of the other
types should be determined in the
same manner.
