Overview
Single-byte code conversion involves changing code from ASCII to EBCDIC. Double-byte code
conversion is from Big5 to IBM Traditional Chinese. The Data Exchange Code Converter provides
the following types of character code conversion for each field data type, as shown in the following
table.
