Step 2 Select Yes and press Enter.
Settings are saved and the BIOS is exited. The server automatically restarts for the settings to
take effect.

7.4.8 Installing an OS
The 2288H V5 supports multiple types of OSs.
l Use Intelligent Computing Compatibility Checker to obtain information about the
compatible operating systems.
l The installation method varies with the operating system. For details, see Huawei
Server OS Installation Guide.
7.4.9 Upgrading the System
Unless the software or components to be installed require an earlier version, keep the system
in the latest state before using the server for the first time.

Upgrading Software or Firmware
Upgrade the iBMC, BIOS, CPLD, or other firmware. For details, see FusionServer Pro
Rack Server Upgrade Guide.
Installing or Updating the Driver
If the existing driver versions on a server are inconsistent with the driver version mapping,
install the drivers of the required versions. Otherwise, the server may operate abnormally.
l Obtain the driver installation package. For details, see Intelligent Computing
Compatibility Checker.
For example, the Windows V304 driver package is FusionServer iDriver-Windows-
Driver-V304.zip.
l Install or update the driver. For details, see Huawei Server OS Installation Guide.
Make sure to back up the original drivers before installing or upgrading drivers.
