6. TROUBLE SHOOTING
6. Trouble shooting
When an Husqvarna Automower™ does not work
correctly, first take the following actions before
continuing with trouble shooting:
1. Update the mower program in Automower to the
latest edition. Many problems are solved directly
by the new mower program, see Table 2: Version
of the mower program on page 10.
The latest version of the mower program can be
downloaded from the support site:
http://support.automower.com.
2. Reset the factory settings on the mower by
selecting Commands - Make factory sett. (shortcut
1-3), enter the PIN code and press YES or from
Autocheck: Tools, Make factory settings.
3. Calibrate the tilt sensor by selecting Tools -
Special settings - Calibrate tilt sensor (shortcut:
5-6-3) or from Autocheck: Tools, Calibrate tilt
sensor.
4. Make a battery test:
Dismantle the body and chassis on the
Automower.
Remove the cable from the battery.
Wait about 10 seconds and then refit the cable.
Fit the chassis and body.
Breakage detection on the boundary wire
Husqvarna AB supplies a breakage detector (part no.
501 00 18-01) as an aid to detect wire breakage. The
breakage detector works well in all weather conditions
and also detects damaged wires (where the wire is not
completely broken, but the signal is weak). A
comprehensive Operator's manual accompanies the
breakage detector.
