Connection for Sta-Rite / Pentair Heater with DDTC
(Digital Display Temperature Controller)
Connect two #14 gauge wires, designed for use in hot environments, to terminals 8 and 9 in 1.
the PE653.
Route the wires through the low voltage knockout in the PE653 enclosure.2.
Make sure that the Low Voltage Divider is in place.3.
Remove heater service door.4.
Locate the DDTC circuit board. Refer to the 5.
manufacturer’s instructions for location.
Connect the wire lead from PR653 terminal 8 to the 6.
“COM” terminal on the DDTC board. (see figure 3-32)
Connect the wire lead from PR653 terminal 9 to the 7.
“POOL” terminal on the DDTC board.
With the “POWER” and “PRESSURE” light’s lit on the 8.
front panel, depress the remote button on the front
display panel of the DDTC, the “REMOTE” light will
come on and the remote system now has control.
