Rear View Monitor (RVM)
Self-diagnosis
When you shift the gear to the R
(Reverse) position and if one or
more of the below occurs you may
have a malfunction in Forward/
Reverse Parking Distance Warning
system.
䳜 You don't hear an audible warning
sound or if the buzzer sounds
intermittently.
䳜 (blinks) is displayed.
If this occurs, have your vehicle
checked by an authorized Kia dealer
as soon as possible.
Your new vehicle warranty does not
cover any accidents or damage to
the vehicle or injuries to its occu
pants. Always drive safely and cau
tiously.

plemental system that shows the
area behind the vehicle on the mul
timedia system screen to assist you
when parking or backing up.
Rear View Monitor system with
parking guidance will activate when
the engine is running and the shift
lever is in the R (Reverse) position.
