1.To drain the used uid, open the
drain plug at the bottom of the clutch
housing and transmission case and
drain the oil completely.
REPLACING HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER
(1) Hydraulic Oil Filter
2. After draining, reinstall the drain
plug.
3.Removetheoillter.
4.Apply a lm of clean transmission
uid on the rubber seal of a new
lter.
5.Tightenthelterrmlyuntilitcon-
tacts the mounting surface. Tighten
thelterbyahandanadditionalhalf
turn only.

1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal
and measure free travel at top of
the pedal stroke.
3. When adjusting, remove the split
pin and turn the U-joint within ac-
ceptable limits of the clutch pedal
to adjust the rod length.
4. Tighten the mounting nut again and
remove the split pin.
