PERIODIC SERVICE
1.To drain the used uid, open the
drain plug at the bottom of the clutch
housing and transmission case and
drain the oil completely.
REPLACING HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER
(1) Hydraulic Oil Filter
2. After draining, reinstall the drain
plug.
3.Removetheoillter.
4.Apply a lm of clean transmission
uid on the rubber seal of a new
lter.
5.Tightenthelterrmlyuntilitcon-
tacts the mounting surface. Tighten
thelterbyahandanadditionalhalf
turn only.

(A) Oil level is acceptable within this range.

(1) Clutch rod
(A) Free play
1. Stop the engine and remove the key.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal
and measure free travel at top of
the pedal stroke.
3. When adjusting, remove the split
pin and turn the U-joint within ac-
ceptable limits of the clutch pedal
to adjust the rod length.
4. Tighten the mounting nut again and
remove the split pin.

20 to 30 (0.78~0.18in.) mm
at top of pedal stroke
To avoid personal injury:
Be sure to stop the engine before
changing oil lter cartridge.
Allow engine to cool down suf-
ciently, oil can be hot and can
burn.
