To avoid personal injury:
Be sure to stop the engine be-
fore checking belt tension.

(1) Power Steering Line
EVERY 200 HOURS
CHECKING POWER STEERING LINE
1. Check that all hydraulic lines and
hose clamps are tightened and un-
damaged.
2. If damage is found, replace the hose
with its clamp.

2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels
are in the straight ahead position.
3. Lower the implement, lock the park-
ing brake and stop the engine.
4. Measure distance between tire
beads (Center) at front of tire, hub
height.
5. Measure distance between tire
beads at rear of tire, hub height.
6. Front distance should be 2 ~ 8 mm
less than rear distance. If not, adjust
tie rod length.
