EVACUATOR VALVE
Open the evacuator valve once a week
under ordinary conditions - or daily
when used in a dusty place - to get rid
of large particles of dust and dirt.

ADJUSTING BRAKE PEDAL
1. Release the parking brake.
2. Slightly depress the clutch pedal
and measure free travel at top of
the pedal stroke.
3. If adjustment is needed, loosen the
lock nut and turn the turnbuckle to
adjust the rod length within accept-
able limits.
4. Tighten the lock nut.

Maintain the same
free play between the
left and right pedals.
To avoid personal injury:
Stop the engine and chock the
wheels before checking brake
pedal.

CAUTION
Since the air cleaner uses a dry
element, never apply oil.
Do not operate the engine with-
out installing the element.
Be sure to ret the cover with
the arrow (on the rear of cover)
upright. If the cover is improp-
erly tted, the evacuator valve
will not function and dust will
adhere to the element. (Refer
to "Replacing Air Cleaner Ele-
ment" in every one year main-
tenance)
