29OPERATING THE TRACTOR
BAdjustment of Foldable ROPS
A Adjust free fall of the ROPS upper frame regularly.
A If you feel less friction in folding the ROPS, remove the
cotter pin (1), tighten the nut (2) until you feel the right
friction in the movement and then replace the cotter
pin.
STARTING
A The seat and suspension should be adjusted to
ensure that the controls are comfortably at hand for the
operator, ensuring that the operator maintains a good
posture and minimizes risks from whole body
vibration.
BOperator's Seat
To avoid personal injury or death:
A Make adjustments to the seat only while the
tractor is stopped.
A Make sure that the seat is completely secured
after each adjustment.
A Do not allow any person other than the
operator to ride on the tractor.
C Travel adjustment
Pull up the travel adjust lever and slide the seat backward
or forward, as required. The seat will lock in position when
the lever is released.
C Suspension adjustment
Turn the suspension adjust handle to achieve the
optimum suspension setting.
A After adjusting the operator's seat, be sure to check to
see that the seat is properly locked.
A Position the suspension adjust handle at the horizontal
position.
