TEMPERATURE/MANIFOLD
ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR
(T-MAP)
REMOVAL
Disconnect T-MAP sensor connector and
remove two screws, then remove T-MAP
sensor.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of the
removal.
INSPECTION
(Using a commercially available
multimeter)
Input voltage
Turn ignition switch to ON with the engine
stop switch in the run position and put the
side stand up.
Disconnect the T-MAP sensor connector.
Connect the multimeter (+) probe to the
violet/red wire and the multimeter (-) probe
to the violet/green wire to measure the
voltage from the ECU input to T-MAP
sensor.
Standard (20°C/68°F): 5±0.25 V
! Coat O-ring with clean engine oil.
! Replace a new O-ring if it has
damaged.
