or third-party software that is not covered by open source licensing terms. These
items of software/software components are protected by copyright. The copyright
powers of Miele and third parties must be respected.
In addition, the appliance contains software components which are distributed
under open source licensing terms. You can access these open source
components along with the associated copyright notices, copies of the valid
licensing terms and any further information in the appliance under Settings| Legal
information| Open source licences. The liability and warranty arrangements for the
open source licences displayed at this location only apply in relation to the
respective rights holders.
The appliance contains, in particular, software components which are licensed by
the rights holders under the GNU General Public License, version2, or the GNU
Lesser General Public License, version2.1. For a period of at least 3years
following the purchase or delivery of the appliance, Miele shall provide you or third
parties with a machine-readable copy of the source code for the open source
components contained in the appliance, which are licensed under the terms of the
GNU General Public License, version2, or the GNU Lesser General Public License,
version2.1. The source code shall be made available on a data carrier (CD-ROM,
