3.2 Transport robot arm
3.2.1 RV-2SD and RV-2SQ
Always lift the robot by the designated holding points
at the base and
at the elbow. Never
try to lift the robot arm by the sides or covers as this can cause serious damage to the robot arm.
Never try to lift the robot arm side-ways or at the joints without using the proper holding points
as this can cause serious damage.
Always use a dolly or truck for ex-tended transport. The holding points are only for brief lifting
pur-poses.
Take care to prevent impacts to the robot arm during transport.

ATTENTION:
When carrying the robot arm always hold it by the designated holding points and . Never
try to lift the robot arm by its covers as this can cause damage.
NOTE
Keep the transport locks and their fastening screws in a safe place for later transport.
