5 Selecting Excitation Filter
Press the EXCITER key to turn the excitation filter
changeover clockwise or counterclockwise to select an
excitation filter.
Screen indication:
(1) The currently selected address in the excitation filter
changeover is indicated.
(2) The wavelength of the excitation filter in the optical
path is indicated.

Note:
If the excitation filter changeover is not connected, the excitation filter information will not be indicated on the LCD.
If any of the openings in the changeover is empty (i.e., in the DIA position) when switching over one excitation filter
to another, a bright light may enter the observation side, depending on the layout of the optical members. The
light may temporarily impair your vision or the object may be unnecessarily exposed to light.
To prevent this, we recommend that you close the episcopic illumination shutter when switching over excitation
filters.
6 Selecting Barrier Filter
Press the BARRIER key to turn the barrier filter
changeover clockwise or counterclockwise to select a
barrier filter.
Screen indication:
(1) The currently selected address in the barrier filter
changeover is indicated.
(2) The wavelength of the barrier filter in the optical path
is indicated.

Note:
If the barrier filter changeover is not connected, the barrier filter information will not be indicated on the LCD.
