3-11 Capturing Screens
Screens can be captured and saved to a Memory Card as bmp files.
Press the Menu Button and select Monitor Hard Copy from the menu.
A bmp file will be created in the following folder on the Memory Card:
Memory Card directory\LOG\CAPTURE
The bmp file will be saved under the following name (with “XXX” representing a number
from 001 to 999): screen_cap_XXX.bmp
When screen_cap_XXX.bmp file numbers 001 to 999 are all used, or when the Memory
Card has insufficient available space, the oldest file on the Memory Card will be deleted
and then the new file will be saved. The captured bmp file can be checked by selecting
Display Capture Data from the PT System Menu. (Refer to 6-8-8 Display Capture Data
in the NS Series PT Setup Manual (Cat. No. V083).)
Note
• No bmp file will be created if a screen capture is executed without a Memory Card
mounted.
• The screen capture execution result (completed or failed) is displayed at the bottom
of the screen.
Example: Message after Operation Is Completed
• The size of the bmp file that is created will be as follows:
• NS15: Approx. 1538 KB
• NS12: Approx. 938 KB
• NS10/8: Approx. 601 KB
• Do not perform the following operations while the Memory Card is being accessed.
• Turning OFF the PT power supply.
• Pressing the PT reset switch.
• Removing the Memory Card.
• Do not remove the Memory Card while power is being supplied. Be sure to follow
the correct procedure for removing the Memory Card.
