3-5-2 Number of Samples to Average
The number of samples to average is the number of data points used to
average data measured by the Sensor.
Increase the number of samples to average to decrease variations in order
to achieve fine positioning and judgement. If the number of samples is
increased, however, the response time of the judgement outputs and linear
output will be increased.
The following table shows the relationship between the number of samples
to average and the response time.
Note 1. If the number of samples to average is increased n times, the resolu-
tion is generally improved times.
2. When the reception sensitivity (corresponds to the internal gain) is
changed, the response time may be slower than that listed in the table.
If the response delay is unacceptable, correct the gain using the gain
switch function.
