PVT DISASSEMBLY

1. RZR S 1000 / RZR 4 900 ONLY: Loosen the outer

cover intake hose clamp and remove hose from PVT

cover.

2. Remove the eight screws

retaining the outer clutch

cover.

3. Remove the PVT intake and exhaust ducts by

loosening the clamps

retaining the ducts to the

inner clutch cover.

4. Remove the drive belt. (see Chapter 5 – Belt

Removal (EBS), page 5.11)

5. Remove the Driven Clutch retaining bolt

CAUTION

Do not strike the driven clutch to free it from the

transmission input shaft. This will damage the clutch.

NOTE

For MY16 EBS models, if the driven clutch will not

disengage, a commercially found 2–Jaw puller may be

used. Only pull from inside the slider pockets. Pulling

on the sheaves may cause damage to the clutch.

6. Remove the Drive Clutch retaining bolt

7. Remove the seven fasteners retaining the inner

clutch cover to the engine and transmission.

8. Remove the inner clutch cover from the vehicle.
