12. OPERATING MANUAL OF THE LOG TOOL
In the monitor, the user setting and system information are saved as the log information. There are two kinds of the procedures to get
the log.
- Log display tool
Refer to the “LOG DISPLAY TOOL OPERATION PROCEDURE”.
- USB flash drive
Refer to the “SAVE LOG TO THE USB FALSH DRIVE”
12-1. PREPARE
The operating conditions of the log tool of the information display
are as follows.
OS
(32bit/64bit)
- Windows 8/8.1
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
Communication
port
- RS-232C port which is recognized as COM
port (with communication speed: 9600,
19200, 38400bps)
- LAN(100 BASE-TX / 10BASE-TX)
12-2. BOOTING
Press [InfoDisp Report] button of the Service Tool Launcher.
Select the model for obtaining the log, and press [OK].
12-3. GET AND DISPLAY LOGS
1 ) When a model is selected, the following window is displayed.
The actual display slightly differs depending on the selected
model.
Depending on the models which are not supported are lightly
displayed.
The [LAN] is not displayed on the [Interface] when the monitor
does not support the LAN connection.
2) When the monitor is connected by the RS-232C cable, refer to
the following procedure 1. When the monitor is connected by
the LAN cable, refer to the following procedure 2.
1. When the monitor is connected by the RS-232C cable
Select the COM port which the RS-232C cable is connected
to. Set the correct baud ratio which fits with the monitor
setting. Depending on the connected monitor, the settings
could not be displayed.
2. When the monitor is connected by the LAN cable
Select the “LAN” and click “LAN Settings”.
