Disruptions and their possible causes
Error LED lit red
• No connection to the BM
• Wrong PIN
• No SIM card but the
interface is activated
To obtain information on other possible
causes of error, it is best to check the
log events in the diagnostics buffer.
• Check the connections/run the
PING test
• Unlocking the SIM card
• Inserting the SIM card
Error LED flashes red
• Duplicate IP address • Correct the IP address
No LED display
• Power supply too weak
• The CMR is in the shut down status
• Correct the power supply according
to the Technical specifications

No positioning possible
• Bad GPS reception
• Antenna not or not correctly
plugged in
• GPS reception is normally only
possible outdoors: GPS reception is
not possible in enclosed spaces.
• Check the connector
Bad or no time-of-day synchronization
using NTP
• Bad mobile wireless reception
• Wrong configuration in the WBM
• Mobile wireless interface deactivat-
ed
• Incorrect NTP server name or incor-
rect IP address
• Correct the alignment of the anten-
na
• Activate the mobile wireless inter-
face in the WBM
• Check the configuration of the mo-
bile data connection in the WBM
No SMS reception
• SMS reception deactivated
• Bad mobile wireless reception
• User not registered or authorized
• Enable SMS reception in the WBM
• Check user rights in the WBM and if
necessary correct
• Check the antenna position of the
mobile wireless antenna
No dial-in to the mobile wireless net-
work
• PIN entered incorrectly three times
• Mobile wireless interface deactivat-
ed in the WBM
