To adjust the steeri ng wheel posi tion,
pull up the l ock rel ease l ever. Then ti lt
the st eering w heel to the desir ed angl e,
push or pull it to t he desired st eering
column length and retur n the lever t o
its origi nal position.
CAUTION
D Do not adj ust the st eering wheel
while the vehicle is moving. Doing
so may cause the driver to mishan-
dle the vehicle and an acci dent may
occur resulting in death or ser ious
injuries.
D After adjusting the steering wheel,
try moving it up and down or for-
ward and rear ward to make sure it
is locked in position.
Adjust t he mir ror so that you can just
see the side of your vehicle in the mir-
ror.
CAUTION
Do not adjust the mirror while the
vehicle is moving. Doing so may
cause the dr iver t o mishandle t he ve-
hicle and an acci dent may occur re-
sulti ng in death or serious injuri es.
