Indicat or light
To defog or defr ost the r ear window,
push the switch.
The engine switc h must be in the “ON”
posit ion.
The thi n heat er wi res on t he i nside of the
rear window will quickl y c lear the window
surface. An indicator light will illuminate to
indic ate the defogger is operat ing.
Push the switch once again to turn the
defoggers off .
The system will automatically shut off af-
ter the defogger has operat ed about 15
minutes .
Make sur e you t urn the defogger off when
the window is cl ear. Leavi ng the defogger
on f or a long time could cause t he batt ery
to dischar ge, es pecial ly during stop−and−
go dri ving. The defogger is not des igned
for dryi ng rain water or for melting snow.
NOTICE
When cleani ng the i nside of the rear
window, be careful not to scratch or
damage the heater wires.
