To tur n the lights on, twist the knob on
the end of the lever.
FIRST CLI CKSTOP: Only t he parki ng, tail,
lic ense pl ate and instrument panel l ights
turn on.
SECOND CLICKSTOP: The headlights al so
turn on.
NOTICE
To pr event the bat tery from being dis-
charged, do not l eave t he l ights on
for a long period when the engine is
not running.
High beam

Headlight
flasher
For high beam, push the l ever away
from you. Pull it toward you for low
beam. For t he headlight flasher, pull t he
lever all the way back and release.
A blue l ight in the inst rument panel indi-
cates hi gh beam is on.
The headlight flas her wor ks even when
the headlight s witc h is off.
Right t urn
Left turn
For signalin g turns, move the lever up
or down in the conventional manner.
The engine switc h must be in the “ON”
posit ion.
The turn s ignal i s sel f−cancelling after a
turn, but after a lane change, y ou may
have to canc el i t by hand. If the green
light in t he i nstr ument panel flas hes f aster
than normal , it indicat es that the front or
rear tur n signal bulb has burned out.
