Threading the upper thread

1 Turn off the sewing machine.
2 Raise the presser foot lever.
3 Turn the handwheel towards yourself to raise the
take-up lever to its highest position.
Otherwise, press the (needle up/down) button
to raise the take-up lever to its highest position
before turning off the sewing machine in step 1.
* If the needle and take-up lever are not raised, they cannot be
threaded.
