IQ 6 Dark Image or Black Image
Description
The printed image is dark.
Check and Cause Solution
1. Check the connection between
the CIS and the Main PBA.
1. Ensure the CIS harness, PL 7, is
properly connected.
2. Check shading profile. 2.Redo shading profile in Tech
Mode, GP 5.
3. No charge voltage. 3. Clean the MEC-TERMINAL and
IPR-P-Terminal CON, PL 3.
4. Charge voltage fault due to bad
contacts between the toner car-
tridge contacts, PL 1, MEC-TERMI-
NAL and IPR-P-Terminal CON, PL
3.
4. Clean the MEC-TERMINAL and
IPR-P-Terminal CON, PL 3. If the
problem still persists, install a new
SMPS/HVPS, PL 1.
5. Check the LSU operation using
Engine Test Mode, GP 4.
5.Install new parts as necessary:
• LSU, PL 1
• Main PBA, PL 1
