Customizing the Start Screen
Choose a background photo and pin a favorite app to the Start screen. Live tiles allows the user to see updates on
news, weather, finance, etc., immediately on the Start screen without opening the app.
Moving Tiles
The user can rearrange tiles on the Start screen. To move a tile to a different location:
1. Touch and hold a tile. The tiles float on the screen.
2. Drag the tile to a new location. Other tiles move as the floating tile move over them.
3. Lift finger and drop the tile.
4. Touch the screen.
Resize a Tile
The user can change the size of tiles on the Start screen. To resize a tile:
1. Touch and hold the tile.
2. Touch .
3. Touch Resize > Small, Medium, Wide or Large.

Unpin a Tile
To unpin the tile and remove it from the Start screen:
1. Touch and hold the tile.
2. Touch .
