CHAPTER 3 WIRELESS
This section provides information on the wireless features:
Wireless Wire Area Network (WWAN)
Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)
Bluetooth
Near Field Communications (NFC).
The ET5X can connect to a variety of networks and devices, including mobile networks (3G or 4G), Wi-Fi data
networks, Bluetooth and NFC devices.
Wireless Wide Area Networks
A micro SIM card is required to connect to a mobile network.
To connect to a cellular data network:
1. Ensure that an activated SIM card is installed.
2. Touch in the taskbar.
3. Touch the Cellular option to turn on the WAN radio if required.
4. Touch the Cellular network in the list.
NOTE Some configurations can connect to both mobile networks (3G or 4G) and Wi-Fi networks, while others can
only connect to Wi-Fi networks. If the tablet supports Wi-Fi connection only, the information related to mobile
networks does not apply to the tablet.
CAUTION Do not use nano to micro SIM card adapters.
