Parameters 101
Parameters
Contents of this chapter
The chapter describes the parameters, including actual signals, of the control
program.
Terms and abbreviations
Term Definition
Actual signal Type of parameter that is the result of a measurement or calculation by the drive, or
contains status information. Most actual signals are read-only, but some (especially
counter-type actual signals) can be reset.
Def (In the following table, shown on the same row as the parameter name).
The default value of a parameter when used in the Factory macro. For information on other
macro-specific parameter values, see chapter Application macros in See ACS880 primary
control program firmware manual (3AUA0000085967[English]).
Note: Certain configurations or optional equipment may require specific default values.
These are labeled as follows:
(95.20 bx) = Default changed or write-protected by parameter 95.20, bit x.
FbEq16 (In the following table, shown on the same row as the parameter range, or for each
selection)
16-bit fieldbus equivalent: The scaling between the value shown on the panel and the
integer used in communication when a 16-bit value is selected for transmission to an
external system.
A dash (-) indicates that the parameter is not accessible in 16-bit format.
The corresponding 32-bit scalings are listed in chapter Additional parameter data
(page 361).
Other The value is taken from another parameter.
Choosing “Other” displays a parameter list in which the user can specify the source
parameter.
Note: The source parameter must be a 32-bit real (floating point) number. To use a 16-bit
integer (for example, received from an external device in data sets) as the source, data
storage parameters 47.01...47.08 (page 281) can be used.
Other [bit] The value is taken from a specific bit in another parameter.
Choosing “Other” displays a parameter list in which the user can specify the source
parameter and bit.
