6.1 Monitoring
6.1.1 Indications
The operation of the IED can be monitored via three different indications on the
LHMI.
• Three indicator LEDs with fixed functionality: Ready, Start and Trip
• 11 programmable alarm LEDs
• A text message on the display.
6.1.1.1 Monitoring indication messages
Indication messages and tripping data are shown in a dialog box.
1. Read the indication message in the dialog box.
The message can indicate the starting or tripping of protection functions or an
internal fault in the device.

Press to close the indication message without clearing it or press to
activate the Clear view and to clear messages.

6.1.1.2 Monitoring internal IED fault
The blinking green LED indicates an internal IED fault. Internal IED fault messages
are shown in a dialog box.
