3.4 Emergency mode
3.4.1 General
NOTE:
Two types of emergency operation are available:
1. The transmission adjustment can still be made via the multiple display. (see chapter 3.4.2 Transmission
engaged, page 233 ).
2. The transmission adjustment can no longer be made via the multiple display. (see
chapter 3.4.3 Transmission control unit faulty, page 233 ).
3.4.2 Transmission engaged
IMPORTANT:

Switch-on conditions
Image (A) appears in emergency mode
• Engine is running.
• Emergency mode available, see Fig. 119
appears.
• Clutch fully depressed.
• No turboclutch valve fault.
• No clutch pedal sensor fault
• No fault in engine speed sensor/bus connection
to engine.
• No transmission control unit fault

NOTE:
The number (1500 in this example) is used to
display the gear ratio. If the transmission ratio is
changed by the operator using the arrow keys on
the control panel, the value in the display also
changes.
Press button.
Carefully engage clutch pedal.
Tractor moves in the desired direction.

3.4.3 Transmission control unit faulty
NOTE:
Only one transmission of power circuit can be activated! Neither a change of direction nor a change of
speed ratio can be activated.
However, the clutched traction must first be established in order to allow a further emergency mode.
Switch-on conditions
• Engine is running.
• Emergency mode available; no forward/reverse arrows in the instrument panel.
• Clutch fully depressed.
