2.4 Fuel system
2.4.1 Change the fuel filter
(A) Fuel filter
On left side of engine
NOTE:
Replace and service in accordance with the
maintenance plan. This should be done sooner if
engine performance drops off.

Change the fuel filter
Procedure
1.
Turn off the engine.
2.
Hold a suitable container underneath the fuel
filter.
3.
Allow fuel and condensate to drain via the
drain plug (A) until the filter box is completely
empty.

4.
Loosen cover of filter box and unscrew.
5.
Clean any dirt from the sealing surface of the
filter support.
6.
Change paper filter element.
NOTE:
Used fuel filters are hazardous waste
