7.1.14 DESMONTAJE SILLIN
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
◆ Levante el sillín.
◆ Destornille y quite los cuatro tornillos (1).
◆ Extraiga el sillín.
Para extraer también el soporte sillín:
◆ Desmonte la cola, véase 7.1.3 (DESMONTAJE CO-
LA).
◆ Extraiga la clavija de seguridad (2).
◆ Utilizando un punzón empuje el perno (3) y extráigalo.
◆ Extraiga el soporte sillín (4).
7.1.15 EXTRACCION BATERIA
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES) y 2.3 (BATERIA).
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
◆ Controle que el interruptor de encendido esté en posi-
ción “
m”.
◆ Levante el sillín.
◆ Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (5).
◆ Quite la tapa batería (6).
◆ Desconecte según este orden el cable negativo (–) (7)
y el positivo (+) (8).
◆ Desconecte el tubo respiradero de la batería.
Conecte siempre el respiradero de la batería,
para evitar que los vapores de ácido sulfúrico,
al salir del respiradero, puedan corroer la ins-
talación eléctrica, las partes barnizadas, los detalles
de goma o las juntas.
Durante el desmontaje, mantenga la batería
en posición horizontal para evitar que el líqui-
do se salga.
◆ Saque la batería.
Coloque la batería en un lugar seguro, lejos
del alcance de los niños.

7.1.14 REMOVING THE SADDLE
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
◆ Position the vehicle on the central stand.
◆ Lift the saddle.
◆ Unscrew and remove the four screws (1).
◆ Remove the saddle.
To remove also the saddle support, proceed as follows:
◆ Remove the rear part of the fairing, see 7.1.3 (RE-
MOVING THE REAR PART OF THE FAIRING).
◆ Withdraw the safety pin (2).
◆ Push the pin (3) by means of a punch and extract it.
◆ Remove the saddle support (4).
7.1.15 REMOVING THE BATTERY
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION) and 2.3 (BATTERY).
◆ Position the vehicle on the central stand.
◆ Make sure that the ignition switch is in position “m”.
◆ Lift the saddle.
◆ Unscrew and remove the two screws (5).
◆ Remove the battery cover (6).
◆ Disconnect, in order, the negative (–) (7) and the posi-
tive cable (+) (8).
◆ Withdraw the breather pipe from the battery.
Always connect the battery breather pipe, to
prevent the sulphuric acid vapours from cor-
roding the electric system, painted parts, rub-
ber elements or gaskets when they exit the breather
pipe itself.
During the removal keep the battery in hori-
zontal position, in order to avoid any leakage
of electrolyte.
◆ Remove the battery.
Keep the battery in a safe place, away from
children.
