7.1.20 DESMONTAJE SILENCIADOR DE ESCAPE
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Espere a que el motor y el silenciador de es-
cape se hayan enfriado del todo.
◆ Destornille y quite las dos tuercas (1) del colector de
escape.
Par de apriete tuercas colector de escape:
30 Nm (3 kgm).
Durante la instalación sustituya la junta colector
de escape - silenciador con otra nueva.
◆ Destornille y quite los tres tornillos (2) de la brida (3).
◆ Destornille y quite el tornillo (4) y guarde la arandela.
Par de apriete tornillos brida: 27 Nm (2,7 kgm).
◆ Extraiga la brida (3) junto con el silenciador.
◆ Destornille y quite las cuatro tuercas que sujetan el si-
lenciador de escape (5) a la brida (3).
◆ Extraiga el silenciador de escape.
7.1.21 DESMONTAJE CABALLETE LATERAL
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
◆ Desmonte el escudo inferior izquierdo, véase 7.1.8
(DESMONTAJE ESCUDO INFERIOR).
Trabaje con el caballete lateral en posición de
reposo.
◆ Extraiga la placa (6) del perno de anclaje (7).
Durante la instalación vuelva a colocar co-
rrectamente la placa (6) sobre los muelles (8)
y (9) antes de sujetarla al perno (7).
◆ Destornille y quite el tornillo (10) y guarde la tuerca (11).
Par de apriete tornillo caballete lateral:
35 Nm (3,5 kgm).
◆ Extraiga el caballete lateral (12).
7.1.22 DESMONTAJE CABALLETE CENTRAL
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete lateral.
Espere a que el motor y el silenciador de es-
cape se hayan enfriado del todo.
◆ ★ Desconecte el muelle (13) del enganche caballete
(14).
◆ ★ Destornille y quite los tornillos (15) y (16).
◆ Extraiga el caballete central (17) junto con su soporte
(18).
◆ ★ Destornille y quite el tornillo (19) y guarde la tuerca
de seguridad.
Par de apriete tornillo (19): 35 Nm (3,5 kgm).
◆ Extraiga el caballete central (17) del soporte (18).

7.1.20 REMOVING THE EXHAUST SILENCER
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
◆ Position the vehicle on the central stand.
Wait until the engine and the exhaust silencer
have completely cooled down.
◆ Unscrew and remove the two nuts (1) of the exhaust
manifold.
Exhaust manifold nut driving torque:
30 Nm (3 kgm).
Upon reassembly, replace the exhaust manifold-
silencer gasket with a new one.
◆ Unscrew and remove the three screws (2) of the flange
(3).
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (4), taking the washer.
Flange screw driving torque: 27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
◆ Remove the flange (3) complete with silencer.
◆ Unscrew and remove the four nuts that fasten the ex-
haust silencer (5) to the flange (3).
◆ Remove the exhaust silencer.
7.1.21 REMOVING THE SIDE STAND
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
◆ Position the vehicle on the central stand.
◆ Remove the lower left shield, see 7.1.8 (REMOVING
THE LOWER SHIELD).
Work with the side stand in rest position.
◆ Withdraw the plate (6) from the anchorage pin (7).
Upon reassembly, correctly position the plate
(6) on the springs (8) and (9) before anchoring
it to the pin (7).
◆ Unscrew and remove the screw (10) and take the nut
(11).
Side stand screw driving torque:
35 Nm (3.5 kgm).
◆ Remove the side stand (12).
7.1.22 REMOVING THE CENTRAL STAND
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
◆ Position the vehicle on the side stand.
Wait until the engine and the exhaust silencer
have completely cooled down.
◆ ★ Disconnect the spring (13) from the stand hook (14).
◆ ★ Unscrew and remove the screws (15) and (16).
◆ Remove the central stand (17) complete with its sup-
port (18).
◆ ★ Unscrew and remove the screw (19) and take the
self-locking nut.
Screw (19) driving torque: 35 Nm (3.5 kgm).
◆ Remove the central stand (17) from its support (18).
