7.3 RUEDA TRASERA

7.3.1 DESMONTAJE
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Espere a que el motor y el silenciador de es-
cape se hayan enfriado del todo. Durante el
desmontaje/instalación ponga cuidado en no
dañar los tubos, el disco y las pastillas del freno.
◆ Destornille y quite las dos tuercas (5) del colector de
escape.
Par de apriete tuercas colector de escape (5):
30 Nm (3 kgm).
Durante la instalación sustituya la junta colector
de escape-silenciador con otra nueva.
◆ Manteniendo accionado el freno trasero, destornille y
quite la tuerca rueda (6).
Durante la instalación sustituya la tuerca rueda (de
tipo especial) con otra nueva.
Par de apriete tuerca rueda (6): 110 Nm (11 kgm).
◆ Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (7) de la pinza de
freno (8).
Par de apriete tornillos zapatas freno (7):
27 Nm (2,7 kgm).
◆ Destornille y quite los cuatro tornillos (9) de la brida
(10).
Par de apriete tornillos del soporte (9):
27 Nm (2,7 kgm).
◆ Extraiga la brida (10) junto con el silenciador.
◆ Quite la pinza de freno (8) extrayéndola con cuidado
del disco freno.
◆ Destornille y quite el tornillo inferior sujeción amorti-
guador (11) y desplace el amortiguador soltándolo del
enganche inferior.
Par de apriete tornillo inferior sujeción amortigua-
dor (11): 20 Nm (2 kgm).
◆ Extraiga la placa soporte zapatas-amortiguador (12).
Dentro del soporte zapatas/amortiguador (12)
están alojados dos cojinetes. En caso de que
los cojinetes estén desgastados excesiva-
mente sustituya el soporte completo.
◆ Extraiga el distanciador y la rueda.
Después del montaje:
◆ Coloque el vehículo sobre el cavallete central
◆ Haga girar la rueda posterior a baja velocidad
◆ Controle que el soporte pinza/amortiguador (12) no
oscile transversalmente
En caso de que se produzca este problema:
◆ Afloje la tuerca de la rueda (6)
◆ Cambie la posición de la rueda
◆ Apriete la tuerca de la rueda.
Par de apriete de la tuerca de la rueda:
110 Nm (11 kgm).

7.3 REAR WHEEL
Key:
1) Complete wheel
2) Spacer ring
3) Brake caliper support plate
4) Nut

7.3.1 REMOVAL
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
Wait until the engine and the exhaust silencer
have completely cooled down. While disas-
sembling/ reassembling the wheel, be careful
not to damage the brake pipe, the disc and the pads.
◆ Unscrew and remove the two nuts (5) of the exhaust
manifold.
Exhaust manifold nut (5) driving torque:
30 Nm (3 kgm).
Upon reassembly, change the exhaust manifold-
silencer gasket with a new one.
◆ On the rear brake, unscrew and remove the wheel nut
(6).
Upon reassembly, change the wheel nut (special
type) with a new one.
Wheel nut (6) driving torque: 110 Nm (11 kgm).
◆ Unscrew and remove the two screws (7) of the brake
caliper (8).
Brake caliper screw (7) driving torque:
27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
◆ Unscrew and remove the four screws (9) of the flange
(10).
Support screw (9) driving torque:
27 Nm (2.7 kgm).
◆ Remove the flange (10) complete with the silencer.
◆ Remove the brake caliper (8), by carefully withdrawing
it from the brake disc.
◆ Unscrew and remove the shock absorber lower fasten-
ing screw (11) and move the shock absorber, thus re-
leasing it from the lower coupling.
Driving torque of the shock absorber lower fasten-
ing screw (11): 20 Nm (2 kgm).
◆ Withdraw the caliper-shock absorber support plate (12).
Inside the caliper/shock absorber support (12)
there are two bearings. In case the bearings are
excessively worn, change the whole support.
◆ Withdraw the spacer ring and the wheel.
After reassembly follow the instrcutions below:
◆ Position the vehicle on the central stand
◆ Make the rear wheel rotate at low speed
◆ Check that the caliper/shock absorber support (12) is
not oscillating transversely.
Should the problem arise:
◆ Unloose the wheel nut (6)
◆ Change the wheel position
◆ Tighten the wheel nut (6)
Torque wrench setting for the wheel nut:
110 Nm (11kgm)
