2.13 Echo Stretch 1/2 and Enhanced video
1. Echo stretch 1: Enlarges the echo in bearing direction. The same echo appears on the next
sweep.
2. Echo stretch 2: Enlarges the echo in range direction. The signal is integrated in the video
amplifier.
3. Enhanced video: The echo is enlarged to increase the number of memories to be filled with
the data.
a) Minimum echo size; one dot
b) Signal level; 15 or more
c) Echoes within 5 dots from screen center cannot be enhanced.
d) The maximum of 5 targets close to the center can be enhanced.
