2.35 TX-HV Power Supply Board (03P6680/03P6810)
03P6680 board contains voltage comparator U51, switching regulator U55/U52 and succeeding
driver/power transistors Q53 thru Q56. The switching regulator oscillated at 18 kHz. The fre-
quency is adjusted By VR51. The oscillated voltage is amplified and applied to the stack rectifier
on the 03P6810 Board through power transformer T55. The TX-HV of +780 V is adjusted by
VR52.
The following protectors are provided.
K51: Overcurrent detector for input line
U51 (1/2): Overvoltage detector for 780 V TX-HV line
U51 (1/2): Magnetron error detector
U56: Overcurrent detector for 780 V TX-HV line
The circuit consisting of U53 and Q52 controls the switching regulator to disable during stand-
by period.
