2.37 Power Supply Unit (PSU-004)
With the power switch on the display unit turned on, +12 V is applied from the display unit to
the power supply unit PSU-004 to turn on the relay K3. Ship’s mains is supplied to the tran-
sceiver in the scanner unit with the relay K3 on. ANT1 signal is generated at TX (0 V at TX) and
the relay K3 in the PSU-004 is turned on so that power is applied to the scanner motor. The type
of the thermal relay K2 must be selected according to ship’s mains.
