3. CONTROLS (TILLER HANDLE TYPE)
Ignition Switch
IGNITION SWITCH
START ON
Move the gearshift lever to the N
(neutral) position before starting. The
engine will not start unless the
gearshift lever is in the N (neutral)
position.
Gear Shift Lever
GEAR SHIFT LEVER
There are three gearshift lever posi-
tions.
F (forward): The boat moves forward.
N (neutral): The transmission gears
are disengaged from the
engine.
R (reverse): The boat reverses.
Choke Knob
CHOKE KNOB
When the engine is cold, pull the
choke knob. A rich fuel mixture is
provided to the engine by pulling the
choke knob.
