Anode Metal

The anodes are made from a sacrificial
material which helps to protect the
outboard motor from corrosion.
Painting or coating the anodes will
lead to rust and corrosion damage
to the outboard motor.
Cooling System Indicator
COOLING SYSTEM INDICATOR
The cooling system is monitored here
to make sure cooling water is circulat-
ing through the engine.
Water flowing out of the cooling
system indicator shows that the cooling
system is functioning normally.
Water Intakes
The engine
cooling
water is drawn
into the water pump through these
water intakes.
