9.6 Stopping, parking
Warning
Risk of misappropriation Usage by unauthorized persons.
– Never leave the vehicle while the engine is running. Secure the vehicle against use by unauthorized persons.

Danger of burns Some vehicle components become very hot when the vehicle is operated.
– Do not touch hot components such as exhaust system, radiator, engine, shock absorber, and the brake system. Allow
these components to cool down before starting work on them.
Note
Material damage The vehicle may be damaged by incorrect procedure when parking.
Significant damage may be caused if the vehicle rolls away or falls over.
The components for parking the vehicle are designed only for the weight of the vehicle.
– Park the vehicle on a firm and level surface.
– Ensure that nobody sits on the vehicle when the vehicle is parked on a stand.

Fire hazard Some vehicle components become very hot when the vehicle is operated.
– Do not park the vehicle near flammable or explosive substances. Do not place objects on the vehicle while it is still warm from
being run. Always let the vehicle cool first.
– Apply the brakes on the motorcycle.
– Shift transmission to neutral.

– Press and hold the kill switch while the engine is idling until the engine stops.

– Press and hold the kill switch while the engine is idling until the engine stops.
– Park the motorcycle on firm ground.
